This is the driving force behind Cycle for Empowerment 2025, a 10-day cycling event organized by ORAA Autism and Youth Empowerment Centre to raise Ksh. 50 million for the construction of a state-of-the-art Autism and Youth Complex.
Starting on May 25, 2025, this ride is more than just a physical challenge - it's a movement for autism awareness, inclusion, and empowerment.
Why Are We Cycling?
In Kenya, over 2.2 million people live with autism, yet many lack access to therapy, education, and opportunities to thrive. The stigma, limited resources, and exclusion they face make daily life a struggle.

The event consists of two cycling tiers:
1. Tier One - The Long Distance Challenge
Three professional cyclists and a representative from ORAA will embark on a gruelling 10-day ride from Nairobi to Mombasa to raise awareness and funds.
2. Tier Two - The Corporate & Individual Ride
A 40km cycling challenge within Nairobi (Nairobi - Syokimau - Nairobi).
